I couldn’t over-state my support for this group if I tried (just one of the things I have in common with Michael Phelps), please Download their Free Toolkit and get the tools to Pool Safely this year. Not only are there wonderful free materials for parents, but they also have a fantastic app called Adventures of Splish & Splash for Android or Apple that helps reinforce the lessons provided on poolsafely.gov as well as a fun pool safely coloring sheet [pdf].
The Michael Phelps Foundation started a partnership with the Pool Safely Campaign last year and it saved lives! We are joining the greatest Olympic swimmer of all-time in support of this wonderful campaign. Summer Fun and Pools go together like Memorial Day and Parades. Please Pool Safely this year now that the pools are open and who knows, maybe start your little one on a path to the USA 4 x 100M Relay team.

Now just scan your screen! On most phones now you can open your camera screen, point at a code and a drop down notification will ask to follow link. It’s a newer feature here in the US on most iphones thanks to a recent upgrade on for iOS 10. So now most should have the ability to read QR codes via the phone’s camera app. That means any iPhone user can open their camera, point it at a QR code, to receive a prompt to saying to follow a URL/Link. I’m not sure on Android. Now, if you’re a Facebook user with their app installed you can scan from there, as they have their own scanner in their main menu options much like Google Chrome in which you hold the Icon for a sec for the menu to appear then select and Scan QR Code to be taken to the items site!

Apple Picking Season is Pecking away at Me!
Getting that itch again to go apple picking!!!!
Flash back to last year…. What a great find today, just had to share. We honestly just loved this place! It’s called Honey Hill Orchard, (not much on frills) but has free tiny petting zoo, hay maze, great apples, doughnuts, killer cider and very reasonable prices ( best part you buy the bag $13 per 1/2 peck w/ no picking or per person fees ) spent $25 for the day left happy and full!!! It was such a beautiful day out to top it off!— at Honey Hill Orchard.
